About B-Scientists

B-Scientists is a multimedia science storytelling and journalism platform by the Black Science Coalition and Institute (B-SCI). It aims to tell a diversity of science stories that inspire everyone to "b-scientists", especially as they relate to Black and marginalized communities.

B-SCI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2019 (EIN: 83-4094344). Our mission is to foster scientific interest, research, skepticism, objectivity, knowledge, and innovation in black and historically underrepresented communities. Our vision is to become a premier scientific organization for aspiring or established Black and underrepresented scientists in an effort to push the boundaries for all people and scientific discovery.

B-Scientists uses several documents to help maintain consistency across B-SCI publications and media. Those documents can be found here and on B-SCI.org
